Blitzle went from strength to strength throughout 2019. Ollie rated her as one of his top two year olds before she set foot on the track and she didn’t disappoint with some excellent performances throughout the season. She debuted at Beverley and looked to learn her trade very quickly. Explosive from the stalls and enjoying being at the front she came good at 4th time of asking when battling out a win at Catterick. She followed this up with a very impressive display at Wolverhampton when given and enterprising ride from Ben Robinson, blazing the stalls and kicking a couple of lengths clear off the bend to win without seeing another rival. Conditions went against her at the back end of the season but we have learnt a lot. Ollie believes her to be an out and out sprinter and 5 furlongs remains her optimal trip. The all-weather track really brought out the best in her so an all-weather campaign and any fast ground turf races on flat tracks is the preference.

She started 2020 with a run out at Newcastle when going down by a creditable 2 1/2 lengths after 6 months off the track, losing to race fit rivals. Ollie believes this has brought her on to just where she needs to be and is itching for the racing suspension to be lifted as he thinks she will be back in the winners enclosure very soon.

She has really filled out through the winter and we are looking forward to a very exciting summer with her.

Updates will follow on the resumption of racing as soon as we have any more news.
